1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Bottie.io (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bottie.io is an AI-powered platform that generates Discord bot source code based on natural language prompts. The Service includes code generation, an in-browser code editor, bot hosting, and project download capabilities. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account credentials with third parties
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limitations

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate bots that violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Create bots designed for spamming, harassment, or abuse
• Generate malicious code, malware, or tools for unauthorized access
• Scrape, data-mine, or mass-collect user data without consent
• Circumvent rate limits, plan restrictions, or security measures
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Service itself
• Use automated tools to create accounts or generate content at scale
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

5. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership

Your Code: All source code generated by the Service based on your prompts is owned by you. You have full rights to use, modify, distribute, and commercialize the generated code. We claim no ownership over your generated projects.

Our Platform: The Bottie.io platform, including its design, interface, AI models, brand assets, documentation, and underlying technology, remains the exclusive property of Bottie.io and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform itself.

6. Hosting Service

Bottie.io offers optional hosting for generated bots. While we strive for high uptime (99.9%), we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate hosting for bots that violate these Terms
• Perform maintenance that may require temporary downtime
• Limit resource usage per bot to ensure fair access for all users
• Remove hosted bots that have been inactive for an extended period

7. Plans & Payments

The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly unless otherwise stated. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider
• You authorize recurring charges at the stated plan price
• Plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion
• We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice

8. Token Storage

If you provide a Discord bot token for hosting, it is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. While we take reasonable security measures, you acknowledge that no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for rotating tokens if you suspect unauthorized access. We recommend using separate tokens for development and production environments.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bottie.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any bugs, errors, or inaccuracies in generated code
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Downtime or interruptions to hosted bots
• Actions taken by Discord against bots generated using the Service

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the generated code will be error-free, secure, or suitable for any specific purpose.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time without prior notice or liability for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may download your generated code before termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bottie.io operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
